Dr. Freeman

Ann Freeman, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Ann Freeman grew up on the East Coast in her home state of Connecticut around horses, dogs, cats, and chickens. Her first job in veterinary medicine was as a kennel technician at an emergency hospital. After that experience, she was hooked on the industry and went to Iowa State University for veterinary school, graduating in 2019. She first started as a veterinarian at a private practice in Rainier, OR and then moved into downtown Portland where she worked at a clinic in SE Portland. She has since moved to Vancouver, WA.

Dr. Freeman enjoys preventative care, as this is what keeps our pets healthy throughout their lives, but she also leans into the challenge of helping patients during sickness and teaming up with clients to make the best health plan possible for them and their pet. Outside of work, Dr. Freeman is a Swiftie and a Giggler, enjoys reading, gardening, birdwatching, board games, traveling, crocheting, hiking, climbing, and running with her husband Austin and their two dogs, Whinnie and Leo. Sometimes, her cat, Rosie Cotton, will join them, pending the adventure!
