Payment & Policies at Feline Medical Clinic
At Feline Medical Clinic, we strive to make every aspect of your visit smooth, transparent, and cat-friendly, from scheduling your appointment to settling your bill. Below you’ll find an overview of our payment options and clinic policies to help you feel prepared and confident when you visit us.

Payment Options
Because we focus on providing the highest quality care, full payment is due at the time services are provided. Estimate will be provided for all services in person and before scheduling upon request. We offer a variety of convenient ways to pay so you can choose what works best for your family. We accept credit cards, checks, CareCredit and cash.
CareCredit
We’re proud to offer CareCredit, which allows you to get the care your cat needs now and pay over time with manageable monthly payments. We offer the 6-month no-interest plan (available for charges of $200 or more if paid in full within the promotional period).
Pawlicy Advisor
Protecting your cat with an insurance policy as soon as you welcome them home can save you from hard financial decisions. On Pawlicy Advisor, you can compare premiums, deductibles, and coverage options to find a policy that meets the needs of you and your cat.
Appointments & Scheduling
We want to give every cat the time and attention they deserve, so we see patients by appointment only. If there’s ever a delay, know that we’re doing our best to stay on time while making sure each cat receives thorough care.

Medication Refill Requests
To refill a medication, your cat must have had a physical exam with us within the past year (365 days). This includes prescriptions like Revolution flea control.
For phone refill requests, please allow at least 24 hours’ notice. For email refill requests, please give us 48 hours’ notice, and let us know if you'd like confirmation when the prescription is ready.
*Some medications, like Clavamox liquid, are mixed fresh and may need a few extra minutes when you pick them up. Thank you for your patience!
Zero-Tolerance Policy for Disrespectful Behavior
At Feline Medical Clinic, we believe in building lasting relationships rooted in kindness, compassion, and mutual respect. As a locally owned animal hospital, we are proud to serve our community, and that starts with creating a safe, welcoming space for everyone who walks through our doors, pets and people alike.
To protect that environment, we have a zero-tolerance policy for disrespectful behavior.
While we understand that caring for a beloved pet can be emotional and sometimes stressful, we will not tolerate any form of abuse toward our team. This includes, but is not limited to:
-
Yelling or hostile outbursts directed at staff
-
Demeaning, rude, or condescending remarks
-
Profanity or name-calling
-
Discrimination based on race, gender, appearance, or other personal attributes
-
Accusations that our team doesn’t care or prioritizes money over patient well-being
-
Threatening behavior, intimidation, or destruction of property
If this policy is violated, we will immediately terminate the veterinary-client-patient relationship (VCPR) and ask that you seek care elsewhere.
Our mission is to provide exceptional medical care to every pet, and that is only possible when our team members feel safe, respected, and supported. Thank you for partnering with us in maintaining a compassionate and courteous environment.
Rabies Vaccination Policy
All dogs, cats, and ferrets must be vaccinated for rabies in the state of Washington, and must be revaccinated following veterinary and vaccine manufacturer instructions. To adhere to this Washington State rule, Feline Medical Clinic requires all our patients, including indoor-only cats, to be vaccinated for rabies and boostered appropriately, according to vaccine manufacturer recommendations. In rare cases, a cat’s health status may make them a poor candidate for vaccination, and in this situation, a waiver may be signed. If you have any questions about the rabies vaccination for your cat, please contact us.
