*Veterinary Assistant*

We are currently expanding our Veterinary Assistant team and are adding a part-time assistant.
Veterinary assistants at the Feline Medical Clinic work hands on with cats of all dispositions. As part of their many duties, they assist the doctors and technicians with exams and treatments, keep the hospital clean, and communicate with clients.
Prior veterinary clinic experience and/or education in the veterinary field is not required but a background of working with cats in a professional setting is a plus.
Availability for all hours and days the clinic is open, occasional Sundays, and holidays is needed. The schedule is established monthly, but flexibility is necessary due to the hours and shifts varying weekly.

*Licensed Veterinary Technician*
We are currently looking for a full-time or part-time licensed veterinary technician. New graduates welcome! We are a privately owned 4 doctor, AAHA-certified hospital committed to providing quality care to cats of all dispositions. We enjoy working in a fear-free, relaxed environment by appointment only.
The LVT we are looking for is dependable and professional with solid technical skills and a commitment to helping cats and their people. You will be performing a variety of tasks including anesthesia, dentistry, radiology, surgery prep and assistance, lab work, iv catheter placement, sample collection, nursing care, client education and appointments. You will need a current WA license in good standing and the ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Our hours are 7:30 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday and 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday. Full-time is 35 to 40 hours per week and part-time is 20 to 28 hours. Both positions may include 2 Saturdays per month.
